Bill says: "The two crofts in the foreground are Millbank (left side) and Burnbank. My parents purchased Millbank Croft May 1953. It comprised some 12 acres and is the area of land on which most of the School, Council Offices, Swimming Pool and Old folk’s houses now stand. They sold off various parts of the land over the years."

I think my great grand parents (Massie) lived at Millbank Farm. My father (Cyril Shepherd) and his sister (Stella) lived there with their grandparents.
