West Eninteer, Muir of FowlisThe small bridge over the Cushnie Burn can be seen in the foreground left. Herbert MacKenzie, who has recently posted a photograph of his antecedent Robert Dunn taken at West Eninteer in the early 1900s, says of his mother, Leila Dunn: "I remember her telling me that she went to school on a Shetland pony and every time it came to this brig over the burn, the pony would try to head for home and there was always a battle before the journey could be resumed."
The Dunn family sold West Eninteer on Wednesday 16th.May 1934, up to that time the family had been farming in the district since 1470.
