Jane Ann Emslie was the sister of my Great Grandfather, Francis Watt, they were the children of George & Jane Watt. They were raised in Lumphanan. She married Alexander Emslie 13 May 1876 & they would spend the rest of their lives at Balfluig. They had seven children. Jane Ann 1878, Peter Alexander 1880-1887, William 1883, George Francis 1885, James 1886, Alexander 1890, Patricia Alexina Isobel 1893-1984. Can anyone tell me what happened to these children?

Patricia A.I. Emslie b. 11 May 1892 married Alexander Adam 14 Sep 1916 in Alford. Alexander died on 16 Oct 1918 in France. They had one child Alexander b. circa 1911 in Alford.

Patricia stayed on at Balfluig running the farm with the help of her grieve Geordie Watt. Her son Alec was a contemporary of my parents Alec & Chris Gray. Mum's Dad (William Stewart) was blacksmith at Lonenwell at this time. In the 40s I remember Patricia (or Auntie Na as I called her) Baby- sitting for Mum. Patricia and Geordie were guests at our wedding in 1965. David Adam her grandson still lives at Balfluig.
